It was over six years ago that Martin Smith and I were treading across the grubby uneven floor boards of Radiant Works. Today we did the same when we visited what is to be my new studio: 58 Huddersfield Road, Holmfirth.
It felt right to get the ‘Martin’ seal of approval – thanks matie. It will be hideous to leave my studio buddies at RW but hopefully I can tempt them to visit me in Holmfirth – the lure of cake might do it!
This is how it started out. Awful, I know – anything would be an improvement. Thought I’d keep the lamp shade! You’ve got to have ‘vision’ to seen past the decor and view the potential.
Walls have come down to open up the space into what will become a bright, airy, inspirational environment. I’ll keep you updated over the next few weeks with the interior renovations. It’s looking better day by day.
