Polyester and vicose combination cloth suitable for devoré. This is not a normal mixed fibre cloth : strands of polyester and viscose are plyed together and this yarn forms the wrap and weft of the cloth. Devoré paste removed the viscose/cellouse fibres and leaves a strong, translucent polyester design. 150cm wide.
It creates a subtle and delicate effect, a marked contrast to the bold effects of devore velvet.
Procion dyes and transfer techniques can be used to achieve a variety of effects on this dual fibred cloth
